The 2022 Hyundai Accent is one of the few remaining subcompact cars on the market. Its diminutive size makes it a great choice for city dwellers, while its entry-level price appeals to car shoppers on a budget.

The Hyundai Accent received a full redesign for 2018, and it carries over with very few changes for 2022. As Hyundai's most affordable model, the Accent delivers a good amount of value with its mix of features, strong fuel economy and relatively spacious interior. The 2022 Hyundai Accent is available in three trim levels: SE, SEL and Limited. All three are powered by a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine (120 horsepower, 113 lb-ft), which comes mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission.
